The Sacred Self

In the beginning, we are given a true self, a Sacred Self, imbued with a spark of the divine. This Self is a unique entity and eternal. It is the essential you -- your soul. When we incarnate, we are also given individual gifts and talents through which this Sacred Self moves, to contribute to the evolution of life and the awakening of consciousness.

Our life’s quest is to know our true self and to fulfill our unique gifts. As each of us accepts our originality, we help life evolve beyond the known, the destructive conformity taught by our families and culture, into new dimensions of being. This is our true vocation as humans. This is the only way to save our planet home.

Sadly soon after birth, we meet the limits of the world, embodied by our families – most specifically and cruelly by mother and father. The limits of our first loves, our parents, is crushing and thwart the expression of our gifts, the blooming of who we are. We hide our true self, our Sacred Self to preserve it. And our gifts goe undeveloped and unexpressed. Our true self, our Sacred Self may be forgotten entirely thinking the divine has forsaken us and life has passed us by.

Yet, no matter now difficult the obstacles, our mission in life remains the same -- to unearth the true and Sacred Self that can energize our unique gifts so that the world may evolve. To do this, we must overthrow the limits of our families and backgrounds to stretch the horizon of human consciousness. This is our life's mission.

The quest of all people is NOT to have children and lead lives of comfort and conformity – but to harness the energy of the true self, the Sacred Self that we may evolve beyond the known into new consciousness, a new species of humanity. I thought you'd like to know.
