Our covenant with life

Our covenant with life is to evolve. More specifically, we are to evolve to enlightenment.

Contrary to conventional belief, life’s covenant is not to conform to family and social tradition. Life’s covenant is not to succumb to the great pressure the norm asserts to marry, have children and pass on fixed values, including denied dysfunction, to the next generation. Nor is our reason for being to surrender to our vestigial animal instincts and to live lives ruled by sex and aggression.

Human capacity has evolved, nature’s paradigm has shifted, and our contract with life has deepened. Our purpose in life is to manifest an evolved consciousness, to become enlightened. With overpopulation from unconscious procreation threatening humanity’s survival, we are all called to this higher task of metaphysical evolution beyond social conformity and animal instinct. The old paradigm of being fruitful and multiplying in physical numbers no longer fulfills life’s contract.

Evolution’s quest is not to overpopulate the planet, but to give birth to new consciousness through the true and sacred self.

Affirm:  I fulfill my obligation to life when I grow, when I evolve.
